Rosa Serra b.1944 (Spanish), '100 Anys Informant, Diari de Girona'. Commemorative sculpture. Plaster cast with painted surface on marble base, signed lower right side, 32 x 11.1 x 10 cm. Note: Possibly a commemorative piece to celebrate the 100 years of the Rahola family ownership of the local daily newspaper-'Diari de Girona'. While the Rahola family were the original owners of the paper when it first began in 1898 under the name. L'Autonomista, ownership was taken from them and it, was used as the official press of the Franco regime. In, 1985 the paper was retrieved by the family and it, resumed operations as an independent publication
