Two Royal Worcester bird dessert plates, mid 20th century, a basket weave bordered plate with an M Holloway painted image of a redstart about to eat a bug, signed, circa 1953; the other a relief image of two redstarts in a beech tree, satin glaze over gloss, designed by Dorothy Doughty and dated 1972.
