A fine classical revival Adams style Sheffield plate tureen, circa 1860, the silver on copper tureen of oval gondola shape raised upon a flared conforming base, the shaped lid with a finial also of gondola design, the body plain but with fine gadrooning to rim and base, with elegant sweeping vegetal handles; typically unmarked.
