Count P.E De Strzelecki: 'Physical Description of New S. Wales' by Strzelecki (London, 1845). Half morocco with marbled boards, 19 black & white plates including 5 maps (one folding), very nice tinted lithographs of Tasmanian Aborigines from drawing by the artist Thomas Bock. With 2 Page letter a! xed behind title page signed by Strzelecki 'To Sir David' of Savile Row London, May 6th 1856. Note in the authors hand on title page 'From the Author'. Some minor scu! ng to the leather however in remarkably fine condition. (Strzelecki, Polish born Australian Explorer mounted expeditions to the Alps, Gippsland and Van Diemen's Land 1839-1842). Rare in any condition
