A superb Royal Doulton hand painted lidded urn by Frank Hancock (act. 1879 - 1913), ovoid shape raised on a slender stem from a circular spreading foot. Decorated with an encircling extensive rural landscape with sheep. Enriched with exquisite acid etched and raised gilding to the shoulder, handles, cover and plinth. Signed to the body and marked under the foot RA5674 and with manufacturer's marks. Height 24.5 cm
