A finely modelled cast Asian bronze of an eastern deity, depicted from the knees up, and mounted on a later iron framed stand. The deity, believed to be Brahma, has eight arms and four heads and is found in Brahman, Hindu and Buddhist mythology, the best known being at the Erawan shrine in Bangkok, Thailand. Age and origin uncertain. Height 37 cm
