A massive Chinese porcelain charger, decorated in underglaze blue with a bird on a rock, butterfly and flowers. The glaze crazed, and border rim decorated with a scale decoration on the biscuit. The underside with 3 panels of bamboo decoration surrounding an apocryphal Ming Chenghua mark. 19th century. Diameter 38 cm
