A very rare Chinese blue and white bowl, Kangxi, 1622-1722, exceptionally well painted with a continuous scene of cranes in a lotus pond, the interior with a central lotus roundel and stylised floral band at the rim, a 'spoked wheel' mark to base. 9.8 cm high, 19.8 cm diameter.
