A large and ornate mid/late 20th century German long case clock by Schneider-Gehäuse, the ornate case in mahogany and burr walnut embellished with panels with foliate inlays, the arched face and glazed central door flanked by angled display cabinets with mirror back, raised on a conforming plinth base incorporating a single drawer and surmounted by an arched ogee cornice, the dial with Roman numerals and decorated with vignettes of musicians, a double arched aperture reveals four alternating figures of children, striking and chiming movement with a highly decorative large pendulum and brass weights.
