A quality 19th century Japanese carved ivory Okimono, the man and boy standing beside a street lamp upon which their monkey is perched, the lamp with turned base and hexagonal panelled light surround, lotus leaf type top, the shaped oval base also mounted with a dog, very fine detail, the base with signed inset mother-of-pearl tablet. Height 7.5 cm
