A Royal Worcester oviform covered vase signed Ayrton, circa mid 20th century, date marks partially illegible with simulated bronze key pattern handles and draped garlands of husks flowing to a gilt socle and foot rim, the lid of same gilt with finial, richly painted with apples and bramble berries against a leafy ground, signed H. Ayrton to main reserve and bearing black Worcester mark and shape mark 2713 underside. Height 25 cm
