A large Chinese famille jaune fish bowl, possibly late Qing (late 19th/early 20th century), of tapering ovoid form with broad waisted neck, featuring a vibrant battle scene upon a yellow ground within a mountainous landscape, and a scene of courtly life to the reverse, repeat pattern to the collar and base. Height 38.5 cm. Diameter 40.5 cm
