A caviar server, in lobed crystal with gilt-metal handles, mounts and the spherical body with a gilt-metal acorn finial hinged cover at the centre opening to reveal the internal bowl on a stand resting in the ice-containing cavity, the whole mounted on a pedestal of three dophins on an hexagonal footed base, impressed mark 'FABERG', 48 cm high, 25 cm diameter.
