A late 19th century Italian Renaissance style walnut and pine carved cassone, the rectangular hinged top with carved edge above a foliate carved panel with dogs heads and female heads, centered by a shield cartouche and flanked by lion mask pillasters above a gadrooned base and raised on canted paw feet, 145 cm wide, 52 cm deep, 54 cm high.
