A Royal Worcester pedestal vase and cover, 1871 the egg-shaped vase with twin gilded entwined snake handles painted with a cartouche of idyllic provincial life with country folk and quaint cottages against a large fertile valley on pink ground with gilded accents on a tapered moulded pedestal on a squareform base, the pierced and moulded cover with radiating acanthus leaves, 28 cm high.
