A Queen Anne walnut and burr-walnut escritoire, English, early 18th century the rectangular moulded cornice above a cushion frieze drawer and a hinged fall-front enclosing a fitted interior with pigeon holes, various drawers and concealed drawers and a central cupboard door, with leather inset writing surface, the lower section with two short and two long graduated drawers, raised on later bracket feet 111 cm wide, 49 cm deep, 167 cm high,. Note: Sold on behalf of the National Trust to fund future projects
