Big Game Rifle 19 bore single barrel muzzle loading Jacobs pattern rifling percussion action. Serial number 475. Circa 1860. Barrel address Perrins & Son, Gun makers to Hrh The Prince Consort, Windsor. Fine engraving to lock, trigger guard, butt plate, patch box and lock tang. Walnut stock with quality checkering. 30' Damascus twist barrel with platinum breech plug, original ramrod, graduated sight. Set trigger. Contained in a mahogany brass cornered case, brass top handle. Purple velvet lining. Accessories are a bullet mould, powder flask, percussion caps in original period box, screwdrivers, spring clamp, nipple wrench, brass capper and a cleaning rod. (Rare cleaning brush for a four groove barrel.) A desirable, fine collectable rifle.
