A good Victorian figured walnut davenport/escritoire, satinwood scrolling and linial all-over inlay, the upstand top cabinet with two hinged doors enclosing a fitted interior of various compartments and sliding base drawer with pen receptacle, etc., the writing slope surface with black tooled leather insert enclosing a plain fitted interior, the base with door to the right side revealing four drawers with recessed knob handles, all raised on compressed spherical bun feet, a quality example in good condition. 60 x 54 x 117 cm
