An impressive early Victorian diamond and garnet cross, the 15ct. yellow gold cross set with four polished garnet rods, a silver and gold crown at each end of the cross set with four small old rose cut diamonds, entwined around the cross is a silver and gold serpent encrusted with old rose cut diamonds, a tiny forked tongue protrudes from its mouth and it has ruby eyes. A triple leaf gold and silver bale to top of cross with three rose cut diamonds, the gold back of the cross with decorative engraving, a gold plated 46 cm. chain in rounded brick type links holds a matching gold and heart shaped cabochon garnet slide, the garnet set with a silver and gold spray of flowers inlaid with small rose cut diamonds and a ruby to the centre of the flower, back of the heart decoratively engraved with a small cavity to hold a photo or lock of hair.
