An old Chinese tusk section ivory brush pot, finely engraved with a mountainous coastal landscape scene including figures in boats, ancient pines and village, signed, the reverse with five fine vertical lines of calligraphic poetry, mounted to a conforming hardwood base with four short half round lug type feet. Showing signs of age and use. Diameter approx. 9.5 cm, height 13 cm
