A fine 19th century gilt bronze and Baccarat crystal chandelier in the rococo design, French, circa 1840, the foliate scroll cast bronze frame supporting thirty one lights and a combination of naturalistically moulded coloured crystal fruits including grapes, apples and pears, fully electrified. Height 160 cm. Diameter 100 cm, approx 300kg in weight. Provenance: Purchased in 1971 by the current owner from Ugo Camiciotti at Galleria Camiciotti, Florence, Italy
