A Japanese katana, the 26 inch blade not in good polish, hamon visible, light salt and pepper pitting, stained and pitted around the boshi, iron tsuba with mons, old worn iron fuchi and kashri, old wrap and steel menuki with slight damage to same, black lacquered saya nakago signed 'Kane Tsugu', late Shinto period, blade fair.
