World War II Navigation Equipment: This interesting collection includes a P4 aeronautical pilots on-board compass with original wooden box, serial number 21451B; Australian Navy lantern signalling portable electric, Serial 4298, R.J Parsons Engineer, Enfield NSW; US Airforce 1944 drift meter model B-5 with original componentry & wooden container. Serial No. Af 44 49449, made in USA by Eastman Kodak; Pilot's leather belt with fire axe, working metal buckle & axe pouches. Created for the RAAF from early World War II aircraft survival axes; Aircraft tail drift sight Mk IV. Ref No. 6B/110, with original wooden box with sight holder, leather straps on the outside & 2 locking hooks; Australian RAAF heliograph full set, with all components & original metal case with strap. Issued to all pilots for emergency survival; World War II Pmg Dd galvanometer boxed with original Pmg box & all componentry incl. internal informative stickers; World War II British Air Ministry switch box, Ref No. 5D/656.
