A fine and large French ormolu mantel clock, signed on the enamel dial 'Bourdon & Dalbergue, Paris', the ornate ormolu case surmounted by a classical flaming urn finial, festooned with floral garlands and framed by classical urns with goat mask mount, all on the shaped base with further conforming decoration, raised on five flared circular feet. Hour and half hour bell striking movement, c.1860
