A pair of impressive 19th century English two-handled lidded potpourri vases of ornate French style, elaborately bolded and painted with leaves, flowers and scrolls in the rococo manner, finely painted with panels of a castle, water mill, cottage scene and bouquets of flowers, the borders richly gilded, the lids surmounted with figural finials of country boy and girl. Height overall 36 cm, probably Coalbrookdale, faults.
