The White Horse Distilleries Silver Pilgrim Flask Tattersalls Cup. An important and historical South Australian horse racing trophy by British Royalty Silversmith Robert Garrard. This remarkable piece of South Australian racing history crafted by Robert Garrard in London in 1864. Weighing 9000 grams, 77 cm. High, pear shaped. The lower body with flutes and strapwork on a stepped foot. The shoulders with acanthus and vine wreathed masks and swung with chains. The cover being baluster shaped. Presented in 1936 by Sir Peter Mackie of white horse Distilleries as a trophy to a nominator who had won the Tattersalls cup on three occasions (it was never won). Height 77 cm
