Australian referees jersey 1969, with Australian Society of Referees badge worn in the Fiji v Australian XV match 1969. Normally referees wore white jerseys. Due to Fiji wearing this colour Kev wore Australian gold. The Australian XV wore a maroon jersey with navy shorts. In the 1970s Australian referee's which were officiating more in neutral contests, started wearing national jumpers. This is a very early example of that
