Early stone lure, a rare, early form of lure predating the later wood and shell lures; triangular in cross-section with sides rounded. Flat side or bottom face is convex; fractured, pierced hole to back end designed to facilitate a natural fibre cord; finely carved bone hook lashed to front end. Length 6.4 cm. Width 1.4 cm.
