Pristine Navajo blanket densely woven woollen blanket with traditional Navajo geometric patterning in red, blue, black and white. Owned by Frances Gillmor, novelist, folklorist and anthropologist whose studies were mainly focused in Mexico and the American Southwest. Gillmor Co-wrote the book -'Traders to the Navajos - the Wetherills of Kayenta', 1934., a copy of this book is included in the lot.
