A 15ct. gold N.Z. 1905 rugby medallion presented to E.E. Booth, the reverse presentation inscribed 'To E.E. Booth from Members and Supporters of Kaikoura F.C. on his inclusion in the N.Z. TEAM FOR GREAT BRITAIN 1905', the front with engraved central cartouche of a rugby player kicking a ball, engraved star form frame. Maker's mark Williamson and 15ct to reverse. Note: Ernie Booth born 24 February 1876 in Teschemakers, N.Z., was a member of the 1905 Original All Blacks playing his first test cap on 1st January 1906 against France. He played three tests over the 1906-1907 period as fullback and wing, he received 24 N.Z. caps
