An impressive large 19th century French Boulle bracket clock, the fancy baluster form case veneered in red tortoiseshell with cut brass inlay and bronze mounts in ormolu, the enamel panelled face with Roman numerals, the outer with Arabic numerals, the centre named 'Brulser, À Paris', the glazed door mounted with a classical woman and stork enclosing a fancy fitted interior, the movement with hour and half hour striking on a bell, suspended woman's head and sunburst gilded pendulum, glazed side panels, surmounted with a trumpeting winged angel full figure, mounted on a large conforming Boulle bracket. c.1860.
