A Napoleon III boulle manner ormolu-mounted and brass-inlaid pier cabinet, third quarter 19th century, rectangular with rounded and chamfered front corners, the black marble top above the frieze and a door enclosing adjustable shelves, shaped aprons below, the frieze, door, and chamfers with panels richly inlaid with cut and engraved brass in Berainesque designs on the tortoise-shell ground, otherwise ebonized and with ormolu mounts throughout.
