Exceptionally rare antique Chinese porcelain tea cup and saucer decorated in Canton famille rose enamels with a bird, butterflies and flowers, all within a heavily gilded border. Underneath a four character Tongzhi reign mark, and of the period. (1861–1875). Minor expected wear and firing faults only. note: It is rare to find reign marks on 19th century Chinese export Canton famille rose porcelain. Diameter (saucer) 14 cm.
