Description:
Large antique Chinese export over platter decorated in underglaze blue with the Fitzhugh pattern. Later mounted in silver for use as a tray c.1790–1810. Late Qianlong or Jiaqing reign period. Some expected signs of wear and use. Note: the later silver mounts bear marks for the city of Porto, 1938 to 1985, of 833/1000 purity. 37.5 x 26.5 cm (including silver mounts).
