Sigvard Bernadotte for France and Daverkosen, Denmark, rare mahogany two seater sofa and matching armchair designed by Count Sigvard Bernadotte in 1954. Count Sigvard Bernadotte was a Swedish prince who lost his royal title in 1934 when he married a commoner. He was a renowned industrial designer making both furniture and luxury objects for Georg Jensen. Furniture designed by Bernadotte is rarely offered on the open market.
