A vintage Japanese Sumida pottery vase of barrel form, the open mouth top with heavy a dribbled glaze in black, red, green and pale tones, the front with three applied sculpted relief monkeys perched upon rocky edges, one holding an egg, Ban-ni signature to the applied tablet at the side.
