A Rene Lalique 'Satyre' wine jug and stopper, 1920s, model 3167, designed 1923 for the wine merchant Cusenier, the clear glass jug with a flaring mouth and short waisted neck above the broad pear-shaped body, with a moulded glass handle with a satyr's mask to its base and sepia stained, the moulded and stained stopper conforming, wheel-engraved to the underside 'R. Lalique/pour/Cusenier'. Height 24 cm
