A Late Victorian Jacobean Style Secretaire on Stand in Oak the base with four bobbin turned legs with carved stretcher and rails and a wooden tray bottom. The secretaire with all-over carvings of mythical birds and figures, the frieze under the gadrooned cornice is a slim drawer with carved floral bosses, the fall front opens to an interior of small drawers and a central cupboard. Circa 1890. Weight 98 cm. Diameter 52 cm. Height 155 cm.
