Don Bradman, colour print of 'Don Bradman' painting by Ivor Hele (c1946), window mounted, framed and glazed, overall 52 x 61 cm. Together with a 31st May 1950 signed letter from Don Bradman on 'Don Bradman & Co. (Member Stock Exchange of Adelaide)' letterhead, that reads: - 'Dear Mr & Mrs Bowden, This is not going to be a long letter, because I am writing it in the office amidst a lot of business, but I wanted to tell you that under separate cover I am sending you a coloured print of a portrait of myself which was painted in oils by the noted South australian artist, Ivor Hele, for the South Australian Cricket Association. I think it is a good reproduction, and hope you may be able to find a small corner for it somewhere. You people have been so good to me over a period of years that I thought you would like to have a perpetual reminder of the chap who is so appreciative of everything. With kindest regards, and trusting you and Myra and Bert are all very fit, Yours sincerely, Don Bradman (signed)'
