Gerard J. Deleplanque Guitar/Cistre (Cittern), 1776 Lille France, original label, tuning pegs, in fine conditon given the age. There are very few of his instruments still in existence. One similar in the Museum of the University of Leipzig. Gerard Deleplanque worked from 1754 to 1790 at Lille. He was an excellent maker and made guitars as well as violins. One example, dated 1768, is in the Paris Conservatoire Collection
