Description:
A set of ten late 19th century huia tail feathers arranged as a fan with a row of huia feathers at base on either side, on an engraved 15ct. gold mount with a rectangular greenstone base. The whole sitting on a velvet lined base with a glass dome. The gold mount stamped '15c' with maker's mark of 'W.R.A' (possibly William Andrews). Height 22 cm of feathers including greenstone base. Width 23 cm of feathers.
