A pair of c.1900 exceptional quality Japanese bronze vases by Inoue Zukuri, the mirror pair image with relief and inlaid mixed metal decoration of flowers, birds, butterfly, river and branches in silver, gold and enamel relief, the lazy river incised and raised in silver meanders between craggy rocks and defined banks, Buddhist crossed fret pattern (Saya Gata) decorates the concave neck, signed to the base with three characters Inoue Zukuri.
