A Chinese large carved ivory figure of a nobleman, he stands with long knobbly staff with dragon head, a lotus flower and leaf to his right hand, a flared panelled headdress, his long robes with various panelled, floral and repeating mon decoration, stained highlights in red, black and dark blue. Height 27 cm, carved character marks to base, raised on turned hardwood stand with silver wire inlay
