A Victorian burr walnut davenport, 1870s, the top surmounted with a pen and ink compartment with galleried hinged cover above the sloped leather-lined writing surface enclosing a well and small drawers, raised on carved scrolling front supports, a flight of four drawers to the right side and false drawer fronts to the left, on castors. Height 75 cm. Width 56 cm. Depth 53 cm.
