C1820s brass admission ticket 'Darnall Cricket Ground/Grand Match Admission Ticket', 26 mm diam, with initials 'W.H.W.' cut into the surface, and on reverse 'W.H.W.' & 'G.H.'. (The initials are the proprietor W.H.Woodhouse, who owned the ground in Sheffield. Darnall Park was one of the first grounds on which the great matches in the north were played; opened in 1821)
