An Australian full cedar secretaire bookcase of large proportions Circa 1840, circa 1840 the moulded cornice above a pair of arched glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves, above a secretaire drawer with simple hook release mechanism, enclosing an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes, above a pair of arched cupboard doors, raised on a plinth base, decorated with acanthus and scroll carved corbels and moulded pilasters to either side of the doors on both upper and lower sections, 143 cm wide, 64 cm deep, 263 cm high
