A Louis Philippe period ebonised and ormolu mounted meuble d'appui, French, circa 1860, the rectangular black marble top with out-stepped corners over an ornate frieze with acanthus cast ormolu mounts above a single door with a brass and tortoiseshell inlaid panel with silvered and coloured flowerheads and applied figural mounts, flanked by river god caryatids above a shaped base with applied mask head and rosettes, 100 cm wide, 53 cm deep, 120 cm high.
