An Australian opal and diamond brooch, by Henry Newman & Son, Elizabeth Street, Melbourne circa 1880, set with an oval solid white opal surrounded by ten rose-cut diamonds on a knife edge bar and diamond, set flowerhead terminals, marked 'H.
