A large transitional-style wucai 'Qilin' jar, late Qing, with angular shoulder, high mouth rim, and on a narrow foot, the body painted in three large panels of qilin, in different positions and colour palettes amongst garden landscapes, each separated by a narrow panel of painted floral pot, all between two bands of scrolling flowers around the shoulder and the foot rim, 29.5 cm high
