An Australian cedar and upholstered scroll-end sofa, circa 1845, the curved back carved with central double scroll and shell motif above a padded back, over scrolled arms with acanthus leaf decoration, above a cushion seat with an ogee moulded front rail, raised on lotus leaf carved feet and terminating in brass castors, upholstered in black leather, 234 cm wide, 54 cm deep, 103 cm high.
